2015 Paddle for Paradise

Let expert guides from AQUASPORTS, of Goleta, deliver your kayak to the shore, shove you off into the deep blue and paddle with you and other adventurers to the secluded sands of Naples on the Gaviota Coast. Skim over recently designated marine protected areas as pelicans escort from above. Play and have lunch about 2 miles upcoast from Haskell's. The paddle is about 4 miles roundtrip.

WHEN: Sunday, October 4th from 8:30am to approximately 3:00pm

WHY: To gain a special appreciation of our amazing undeveloped Gaviota Coast while supporting Naples Coalition's efforts to protect large-scale commercial development at Naples.

WHO: Anyone who can swim comfortably in the ocean and who is over 5 years old (children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). Novice kayakers are as welcome as those with lots of experience. We watch out for each other.

HOW: Call or email Naples Coalition to reserve a kayak rental (or prepay to reserve here) - tandem or single. Rentals are $100/person and 100% of that goes to protecting Naples on the Gaviota Coast thanks to Eric Little and his guides' commitment to guarding this coastline.
