February 5    SBR terminates the MOU with the County but wants to continue some past approvals.

February 4    Coastal Commission rejects as deficient (for the 3rd time) the County submission of the Santa Barbara Ranch project.

January 27    Board of Supervisors votes to reconsider their revisions to the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) that would have allowed for the processing of the Naples project to be split into two parts that could be developed separately.

January 6    Coastal Commission rejects as incomplete the Local Coastal Program (LCP) amendments.

January 5    Challenge filed to Supervisors closed-door decision to amend the MOU.

November 20    The Naples Coalition and Santa Barbara Surfrider Foundation represented by the Environmental Defense Center filed a lawsuit challenging the County's approval of the Naples project and certification of the Environmental Impact Report for the Naples Project.
